The Museum für Gestaltung exhibited its high-calibre collection of puppets in their off-space at the Toni-Areal in Zürich from the 5th of May to the 10th of September 2017. We had the honour to bring to life some the figures of Otto Morach, who was part of the artistic avant-garde and creator of the famous "Boîte à Joujoux". By means of a kinetic installation we controlled the threads of the marionettes individually with 12 internet connected motors. This allowed visitors of the museum a playful introduction to historical puppetry.
The project has been conceived in collaboration with Lucid a design studio run by Alumni of the Interaction Design Program at the Zurich University of the Arts.
